Participating with Beloved Brother Angaangaq, Daughter Deloria, Indigenous Spiritual Leaders and Communities with President Hugo Chavez and representatives of the Government of Venezuela in the Installation Ceremony of Guaicaipuro, at the Pantheon of Heroes, burial place of Simon Bolivar and other Venezuelan Heroes in Caracas, Venezuela. Dec 9, 2001. Guaicaipuro united all the Indigenous Tribes of that region in response to Spanish Colonization efforts. While initially successful, as Crazy Horse, he was ultimately betrayed and he and his family were brutally assassinated by the Spaniards . In respect and honour to the the Sacred Ceremonies, and the Sacred Pipe he shared with Hemispheric Indigenous Representatives, President Chavez reserved his political perspectives until he went outside the Pantheon.
